Commercial Property Solicitor

  • Contract Type – Permanent – Full time
  • Working Hours – 35 hours per week
  • Salary – £TBA

Qualities we are looking for:

  • Experienced solicitor with more than 4 years’ experience of commercial leases
  • Target driven
  • Highly motivated
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team player

Essential for the role:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Experience and knowledge of commercial conveyancing, drafting leases, company law, insolvency and anti-money laundering is desirable
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills in order to clarify and comprehend complex issues raised by solicitors and to probe and extract the relevant information and exercise sound judgement in decision making
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey information clearly to the enquirer.
  • Ability to work under pressure. Must demonstrate a balanced approach to a large volume of enquiries and be able to prioritise
  • Good inter-personal skills to achieve co-operation from colleagues, fellow practitioners and all third parties
  • Excellent client care skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team and also independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
  • Highly organised and methodical – attention to detail/accuracy and quality conscious, and proven organisational skills
  • Good IT skills
