If you decide to instruct us we will agree with you a schedule of work and the timescales involved.

How much will it cost?

Many of our business services are offered on a fixed fee basis, but if this is not possible due to any particular circumstances with your matter, we will provide a quotation as to the estimated fees during our initial consultation with you.

The below fees are an indication of the professional costs associated with those transactions listed, however, each matter will be considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure a bespoke and personal approach to your legal needs.

Commercial Leases

  • Acting for current tenant assigning lease to someone else – £800.00 + VAT
  • Acting for person proposing to take over lease from current tenant – £995.00 + VAT
  • Acting for Landlord dealing with request from tenant to assign – £950 + VAT
  • Tenant taking on a new lease – £1,250 + VAT
  • Landlord granting a new lease – £1,250 + VAT
  • Purchasing a commercial property – £1,250 + VAT

Sale of Commercial Property

  • Selling price up to £100,000 from £750 + VAT
  • Selling price up to £200,000 from £1,100 + VAT
  • Selling price up to £300,000 from £1,450 + VAT
  • Selling price up to £400,000 from £1,800 + VAT
  • Selling price up to £500,000 from £2,150 + VAT
  • Over £500,000 – fixed fees available on request

Purchase of Commercial Property

  • Purchase price up to £100,000 from £950 + VAT
  • Purchase price up to £200,000 from £1,300 + VAT
  • Purchase price up to £300,000 from £1,650 + VAT
  • Purchase price up to £400,000 from £2,000 + VAT
  • Purchase price up to £500,000 from £2,350 + VAT
  • Over £500,000 – fixed fees available on request

Sale of Business

  • Selling price up to £100,000 – from £950 + VAT
  • Selling price over £100,000 up to £250,000 – from £1,500 + VAT
  • Selling price over £250,000 up to £500,000 – from £1,995 + VAT
  • Over £500,000 – fixed fees available on request

Purchasing a New Business

  • Purchase price up to £100,000 – from £1,500 + VAT
  • Purchase price over £100,000 up to £250,000 – from £3,000 + VAT
  • Purchase price over £250,000 up to £500,000 – from £3,900 + VAT
  • Over £500,000 – fixed fees available on request

Disbursements

On all transactions, disbursements are payable in addition to legal fees. Disbursements vary depending upon the type of transaction but typically include Land Registry fees, search fees, Stamp Duty.

Some transactions may include a combined fee – for example a current tenant selling a business to someone else and assigning the current lease – this would be the assignment fee (and the sale of the business fee depending upon how much your business is being sold for).
