We have two partners who specialise in criminal cases. John Booth and Vanessa Saxton are Crime Franchise Panel Members and Duty Solicitors. They have been practising in Sheffield and specialising in this type of work for the sharp end of 30 years between them.

They provide both advice and representation for all criminal cases before the Magistrates and Crown Court. We also provide a service through to any appeal proceedings.

If you are arrested or attend as a volunteer at the Police Station during an investigation for a criminal offence we provide full advice and representation at the Police Station. To access this service, an out of hours number is provided by the practice. Both John and Vanessa do also provide services for the Duty Solicitor Scheme.

Public Funding which used to be known as Legal Aid is often available for cases before the Court. John and Vanessa can assist with making an application for your costs to be met under this scheme. This can also apply even if you intend to plead guilty and require a specialist solicitor to put forward your mitigation.
